Teensource.org, a project of the California Family Health Council is featuring photographs and multimedia pieces made by teens in Southern Kern during Venice Arts' Picturing Health project in a three-part series on their blog. We're so excited to see the work being used to spark conversations amongst youth from various communities about the impacts of teen pregnancy. Check out the first two posts in the series here and here.

Love that! Totally tied in with our initiative in Southern Kern for Spring 2012, where Maya and Joanne will continue working with teen moms, who will hold community forums about both the joys and challenges of being young mothers. |
