On Exhibit April 9-May 11
The premiere of a collaborative project by photographer Doug McCulloh and writer Susan Straight, who have been traversing the Inland Empire and discovering stories, histories, and dreams unique to the landscape of orange grove and vineyard, river and desert. McCulloh’s large-scale photographs will be paired with Straight telling tales, which viewers can hear on their cell phones. The exhibition will also feature McCulloh’s recent project Dream Street, a chronicle set in motion when the artist wins the right to name a new street and decides to document the revealing and sometimes brutal process of building a new neighborhood in Southern California.
