Join Us For Being Mortal Film Screening and Community Discussion 8/6

Join us at Venice Arts on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 7pm for a free screening of BEING MORTAL. Based on the book by Dr. Atul Gawande, this documentary film affirms the importance of human dignity, compassion, and self-determination. The screening will be followed by a discussion moderated by Sandra de Castro Buffington, Founding Director, UCLA Global Media Center for Social Impact.

Screening begins at 7pm. Refreshments will be served.

This screening and discussion is a program of Venice Arts, with the support of the Venice Family Clinic and the UCLA Global Media Center, and is supported by the California HealthCare Foundation, based in Oakland, California.
