Night & Day in Downtown L.A.
This fall, we explored the spaces of downtown Los Angeles from behind the lenses of nine bright minds. Navigating through the sights and sounds of the city, these students of St. Francis became documentary photographers, recording the visions that make Los Angeles such a unique place. Though light was fleeting, they used the light of rushing traffic or the city skyline to paint beautiful long exposures. From the glitz of LA live to the grime of the city reality, students learned how to use these bits of experience to tell the story in their mind. It was in this smoggy twilight that our cameras became new eyes to looking at the city the students of St. Francis call home.
