I had a friend who took pictures, and I liked the way she edited them in Photoshop. I used to be the kind of person who would like something, but wouldn’t engage in much. I would keep my desires to myself and not pursue them. My mother knew I liked photography so she thought it would be a good idea to sign me up for a summer program. I didn’t like the idea because there would be new people and I disliked talking to strangers. I just wanted to enjoy my summer by swimming, sleeping and helping my mom work. My mother told me to just give it a chance… and now here I am at Venice Arts, three years later , loving photography and overwhelmed with ideas for projects and books I’d like to produce in the future.
