Sharing a call for entry for students and others in the field of youth media... YouTube's DoGooder Awards. The deadline for submitting cause-driven, youth media to the YouTube DoGooder Awards is this Saturday, Feb. 15.
It's free and easy to submit -- as easy as uploading to YouTube -- and a powerful opportunity for visibility before national audiences and stakeholders. And if we show up strongly this year, the potential for increased opportunities for visibility only grows.
In addition, the winning nonprofit receives a $3,000 prize, thanks to support from Nickelodeon, and the winning video is featured in a variety of outlets, thereby spotlighting your program and the efforts of the young people creating within.
You can explore some of the current submissions on the YouTube DoGooder page here. (Click on "Explore Submissions" and then the "Most Inspiring Youth Media Award" tab).
And all the info you need about eligibility and submissions process is at this link.
