BUILDING A CULTURE OF COLLEGE & SUCCESS!

CREATIVE PATHWAYS

Venice Arts offers both college and creative career pathways programs that encourage young people to aspire high, and that support them to achieve success.

College Pathways

We offer a unique and enriched college preparatory environment, readying youth—many the first in their families—for college acceptance. Opportunities include:

  • Scholarships for advanced arts learning at CSSSA, Otis, Idyllwild Arts, and more.

  • Support for awards, film festivals, and other competitions.

  • Fall College Day Designed with our partners at Loyola Marymount University’s School of Education, students develop an individualized action plan; meet with admissions officers; identify the type of college that might be best for them; learn about free test prep; and receive support for FAFSA, financial aid, and scholarships.

  • Spring College Day Juniors get a head-start on planning for the senior-year application process.

  • College Counseling 1:1 counseling and family support.
