Polaroid Photography Masterclass + Info Session (FREE) (At Capacity)

Join Venice Arts and the California State Summer School for the Arts (CSSSA) for a free, hands-on Polaroid Photography Masterclass and info session on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. Led by CSSSA faculty member Christopher Velasco, this interactive workshop invites students to explore unconventional, artistic ways to manipulate—and even destroy—Polaroid photographs using mixed media. Participants will learn how to push the boundaries of instant photography, transform everyday snapshots into one-of-a-kind works of art, and embrace the beauty of impermanence. The session will also include information about CSSSA’s four-week, in-residence summer program for talented high school artists. Open to 8th–12th graders only. RSVP required by January 23.
