J-T Ladt joined Fuse Media as their Chief Content Officer in March 2017. Prior to joining Fuse Media, J-T Ladt was Head of Development for Red Bull TV, and Vice President of Programming and Development at National Geographic, where he oversaw the West Coast development team in National Geographic Channel’s (NGC) Los Angeles office. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., the network’s Los Angeles, Calif. office is responsible for growing NGC’s ties with the West Coast production community, and has developed over 150 hours of programming, including series such as Life Below Zero, Ultimate Survival Alaska, The Legend of Mick Dodge, Southern Justice, and Building Wild.
Ladt came to National Geographic Channel from Renegade 83 (Naked and Afraid), where he served as Co-Head of Development for the TV powerhouse. During his tenure, Ladt was responsible for developing and setting up projects across multiple networks including; Discovery, Spike, VH1, Style, G4, Syfy, TLC, ABC, Fox, and the CW. Before joining Renegade 83, Ladt was co-executive producer and partner with showrunner James Bruce (Survivor, The Restaurant, Below Deck). While at James Bruce Productions Ladt oversaw development and production for projects at NBC, ABC, CBS, TNT, A&E, MTV, Court TV and Comedy Central. Ladt started his career in the mailroom as an agent trainee at the Gersh Agency.
