Students Screen Film as Part of Sundance Next Fest 2016

Venice Arts students Korey and Rise were given the opportunity of a lifetime when Venice Arts was invited to participate in a youth talent show hosted by actor Craig Robinson, prior to the screening of Morris From America at Sundance Next Fest 2016 on Saturday, August 13. The purpose of the talent show was to showcase the hard work and creative talent of L.A.'s youth, and also featured students from Inner-City Arts and 826LA. Korey and Rise introduced and screened their film in front of a massive, captive audience.

Watch their introduction from Saturday and the film below!

A very special thanks to Charlie Reff and to Moira Griffin at Sundance for their tremendous support in making this event so special for our youth!
