Venice Arts Awarded Two California Arts Council Grants

Venice Arts announces grant awards totaling $33,000 from the California Art Council (CAC) to support its free media arts education programs for Los Angeles’ low-income youth. A portion of funds will support our photography programs at three area middle- and high-schools, while the balance will be directed to our media arts education, college pathways, and creative career development programs. "Young people’s social and emotional well-being is predicated on consistency, connection, opportunities for self-expression, and hope for the future,” says Venice Arts’ Executive Director, Lynn Warshafsky. “This is more important now, than ever. We are so grateful to have an ongoing partnership with the California Arts Council.”
