Congratulations to Teaching Artist & Mentor Carly Short on her WAVE Award

The WAVE Awards were launched by the Venice Chamber of Commerce Education Committee to acknowledge the teachers that make a difference every day in the lives of Venice youth. On May 12, 2016, Venice Arts' own Teaching Artist & Mentor Carly Short was selected as a recipient of the prestigious WAVE Award, nominated by Director of Education Issa Sharp and Lead Filmmaker Christian Rozier for her dedication to her students and her craft. Carly teaches several film, animation, and multimedia classes at Venice Arts, and is an invaluable part of our Venice Arts family. Congratulations again, Carly!
