stARTup LA 2020

Venice Arts is excited to be presenting an exhibition of work by our talented young artists, as part of stARTup LA. Bypassing the traditional gallery system, stARTup connects hungry art buyers to highly curated up-and-coming artists, and takes place at hip and stylish Kinney Venice Beach hotel. Venice Arts will mount a series of photos in the public corridors of the hotel. The printing of the student’s work was done with the help of POVevolving, the DTLA fine art printer who kindly donated their services for the project.

ARTIST'S TALK + BOOK SIGNING: Dotan Saguy: Venice Beach, The Last Days of a Bohemian Paradise

Come hear photographer Dotan Saguy talk about his stunning photo documentary about the extraordinary but endangered culture of Venice Beach. His meticulously composed, compassionate photographs unabashedly praise the rarity of the unique individuals who populate the sands of Venice. Unfortunately, Venice Beach sits on the edge of a knife, as the forces of gentrification and corporate expansion threaten to squash the way of life that has defined Venice for decades. Saguy will talk about his artistic process and sign copies of his monograph Venice Beach: The Last Days of a Bohemian Paradise. Don't miss your final chance to see the exhibition before it closes.

EXHIBITION: Reimagining Reproduction: The ART of Infertility in Los Angeles

Venice Arts is pleased to welcome The ART of Infertility for an exhibition and accompanying programs in our rental gallery. Infertility (IF) has been described as a culturally stigmatizing and invisible disease. In honor of Men’s Health Month, the public is invited to an innovative and emotionally provoking art exhibit portraying the realities, pains and joys of living with IF. Curated by The ART of Infertility, this exhibit breaks the silence around reproductive grief and pushes back against common misconceptions, as well as explores all of the ways modern families are made.
